Is it necessary to wax my skimboard.?

I am new to the hobbie and i got some Uncle Mauis SURF WAX , but i dont no how to put it on and i want to no if it is really necessary.

A little bit, Not like a surf board! A little for SOME grip, try it!

I know some people who don't.However it is much much easier if you do wax it.To wax it just rub it on the top of the board till beads of wax form.

Keeps your feet from slippin off, so it really is helpful butyou dont HAVE to use it....its a good idea though.  All you do is just rub it all over your board where your feet might hit and youre set.
