  1. Amie, Here's what I would do first. Call: tirerack.com @ 1-888-541-1777 and ask them if there are any issues with clearance problems if you up-size the wheels and tires. They sell aluminum wheels and 18 different brands of tires. They positively know what does and does not fit. Better safe than sorry later!!

  2. Easiest thing to do is go to the Discount Tires website, they have a "up sizing" (up size +2 is what you are doing) feature that will figure it all out for you. Just plug in year, make and model and off you go!

  3. You shouldn't hae a problem if they're lo-pro's... Get them on and turn the tires all the way to the side and move the car a few feet, listen for rubbing.. If the tires dont rub on the wheel wells then yer fine!

  4. That is not enuff info. First the lug bolt pattern need be the same. If they are not, you'll have to use an adapter to get the wheels to bolt on.

NOW will the thickness of the tire fit into the wheel well. If this works will the tire clear the steering motion inside the wheel-well? Does it have any travel up and down?let's skip the fit.

Now the change in geometry  has changed the leveraged weight on the ball joints and the whole suspension and drive train  etc,etc,etc,and.............etc! But they look good!!

The answer is you've got to try them to know

                         "BRILLIANT"!!!!!

  5. your speedomiter may be a little off i.e. showing 35 and you're actually going 38 or so...

otherwise.. no, shouldn't be an issue

  6. no problem but just make sure that they are parallel and your steering wheel will not be heavier.
