  1. yeah its normal for hamsters to squeal. They all have a diffrent way of saying how they feel. Diffrent squeals mean diffrent things. It is possable they he is just scared.

  2. no its not normal. it means that its scared to death.

  3. Hamsters are not pets to be handled by all and sundry. They need time to get used to scents and sounds. If anybody whom they are not used to handle them, they would definitely get scared and squeal and bite. Whereas, he is not doing the same with you since he is already used to your scents and smells. Hence be very choosy in allowing people to touch your hamster since anybody new touching him would stress him out. Make sure that Buzzwardoo is handled only by people who are used to him whom he trusts (which you can gauge by him not squealing when the people he trusts holds him)

  4. I think he is scared, so maybe you should try letting one other person hold him. Try doing this everyday, soon he may come around. Although, some hamsters are just skiddish so he may never be comfortable with other people.

  5. well then dont let anyone hold him

    he wuvs you

  6. If you just got him then maybe he's just getting used to you, but hamsters are cool =]
