  1. Yes, I sometimes do chew on my straw when I (pretend to) listen to somebody talk while out to eat. I also know a lot of other people who have this habit, so I  would say it's normal. Chewing straws isn't bad for your teeth because it's not too different from chewing gum, and your teeth are strong enough to most likely handle it.

    Chew on!

  2. I always chew on straws. trust me. ITS NATURAL !  =D

  3. Well, not all people do it but it's a habit and it's not a bad one. So, don't worry.

  4. I do.... I wouldn't claim that I am the icon of normal but i think its mostly normal..... besides it is better then chewing on ice and has less sugar then gum.... just don't swallow it... believe me... bad experience...

    ^.^

  5. Who cares. do what ya do. We all have strange habits. I bite my nails. :)

  6. Probably just the same as biting your nails, smoking cigarettes, twirling your hair in your fingers, bouncing your legs, tapping your pencil.......

  7. I don't do it, myself, but as long as you're not, like, eating the straw, it's fine.
