Is it normal for PS3 fan to be so loud?

It was never like this before, and now I can hear it from the next room

No, if you have a warranty you can return it or send it to Sony.

The reason its so loud is because the system is way hot.

Nope, it's not normal, you should try to contact SONY and let them fix it ( If you still have warranty ) because it is broken.

But if it's Xbox 360 and the fan is so LOUD, then its normal, as 360's fan is so loud!!! ;-)

no sounds like you broke it send it back to sony or the store if you have the warranty if not your srcued...

however if your PS3 is in tight spaces or dusty that could be it or maybe if you leave it on for a really long time...
