Is it normal for a 10 year old to still wet the bed at night? What can be done about it?

and no drinks an hour before bed

Thats not very normal, but try going to the bathroom right before you get into bed. Also, try not drinking anything after around 30min before you need to go to bed!

Yes it is quite normal.  I suggest eliminating soda all together, soda causes gas, gas causes bloating and the bloating puts pressure on the bladder which can cause bed wetting at any age.  

Cease all liquids after 5:00pm, set an alarm for about midnight and make sure he gets up and goes to the bathroom at that time, this may require you to get up with him for the first few nights.  

If all of the above fail you might want to take him to the doctor because bed wetting may indicate a medical problem.

I would suggest taking him to the doctor because sometimes they just can't help it.  It could be something like a weak bladder or maybe he just sleeps too deep and doesn't realize what hes doing.

WELL, if u wett every night, buy some goodnites sleeping diapers

or they have boxers with diapers in it so they look not like diapers and they have new underjams they are not as noticeable ans orignail goodnites. and dont drink any liquinds 1 hour before sleeping and before u go to sleep go pee.

My son is 8 and still has this problem. He goes to bed at 8pm and drinks nothing after 7pm. There's times when he just doesn't wake up. If I don't hear him get up at night I usually check on him and sometimes he'll be sleeping in pee. The doctor says that some children's bladders don't mature as fast as others. We did the whole goodnite thing but that just gave him an excuse to not get up. I do make him change his own bed clothes in the middle of the night when he wets the bed. It's been getting better.....

Yeah it's normal for any person to still be wetting the bed at any age.......but i don't know what can be done......
