  1. Do NOT pull it out!!  If you MUST remove it, clip it off. That little girl doesnt need that kind of pain in that place, especially just to make her parent feel better.

  2. It's probably just from her own hair, from the laundry........  I even have one of those occasional long ones, from no where, but they are not connected. down there....... just there from wash day.

  3. Talk to your pediatrician but I had pubic hair when I was around that age.  Not full on, but some.

  4. just maturing early

  5. No its not normal anyway. It doesn't sound worrying although you should try pull it out if it doesn't cause too much pain. If this hair comes through regular it might be worth asking the doctor for some advice.

  6. Hormones... Or just a random hair...

I have a single random hair that grows solid black on my belly button, I've always had it... I have no idea why...

Pluck the hair and next time it grows back, have her pull it out again...

Don't feed her soy and if she is heavy then that would be increasing her estrogen too...

It isn't a life or death thing... It is just a hair... Don't make her feel 'wierd' about it...

  7. Mostly hormones. If you see her become unusually chubby and have acne. Take her to an Endocrinologist.

  8. Well, if it grew out of her than i guess its normal.

  9. It is not unusual for girls to have puberty early, just rare.

I would speak to your GYN about it in the event that your daughter is experiencing pernicious puberty.
