  1. tell the little snot to sleep in her own bed or ur gonna take her back to the store, my mom used that one on me it worked everytime hahahaha

  2. It really isn't normal for a 9-year old to sleep with their parents. They may like to once in a while but not every night. You should try putting and end to this by slowly easing her into her bed one step at a time...maybe make a deal of every other night then maybe 3 times a week and just keep dwindling it down until it gets to nothing. If you continue she may develop some seperation anxiety issues later when camps or sleepovers roll around...

  3. I think that is absolutely horrible for both yours and your childs well being. Holy c**p!

  4. No, it's not normal... what is the reason for this? Is she afraide of something, of sleeping alone? or is she just spoiled and likes to sleep with you for no reason?

If she is scared of something, don't push her too hard.... try to understand her fear and help her get over it. When I was 9, I had seen to many ghost movies and I was afraide of ghosts, wich is why I didn't want to sleep alone

  5. i deffinatley agree with the above statement.. Infact i've seen a nanny911 show like your situation and the child was really screwed up. I hate to break this to you but the future is not bright for your child. I have an idea that will help you get your child to ease back into sleeping on her own. Talk to her about if she wants her bedroom redone ( or, for a smaller budget , et a new bed-spread / comforter or a new matress....only if she promises she likes it and wants to sleep on it.) For example, if she's girly, paint the room a cool colour, get one of those canopy things for around her bed ect.

But it all comes down to these things-#1. the well-being of your child is worth the money. #2. DO IT RIGHT! a child lives in phases so decorate the room accordingly so she won't grow out of it for a few years. #3. don't be afraid to look in decor magazines, browse online at stores like IKEA or talk to a designer!

    hope this helps

    and good luck
