Is it normal for a capacitor digital reader to shutt off?

Ya I am having a problem with my cap, it has a digital reader on it and it works for about 5 minutes and then it just shuts off. The cap is still working because my amp is powering my sub, I just dont know why the digital reader shuts off. And the only way to get it going again is by restarting the car. Is this a bad cap? or maybe something wrong with my car ? thanks

Caps with digitial read outs shut off automatically if the power dont change for awhile to save your battery. so when you turn your car off and turn it back on the volts to it is changing and that is why it turns back on. not a problem with the cap

its normal, the caps work like that, after their get power they go off byself, if you amp need more power they turn on again
