Is it normal for a cd player/receiver to get really hot in the back where the harness is connected??

maybe im just overreacting lol but i went to mess with the wires in the back and it seemed really hot but this was right after it had been playing for a while

no it isent, You should let it cool down because it might over heat and mabey catch fire. It could because of the way you charge it or mabey a bad battery (if it has a built in battery you should just go out and buy a new one) there not very expencive any more. Hope this helps
