  1. It's very normal. Anywhere between 37-42 weeks is the most common time-frame for a baby to be born.

  2. yes I did I was due July 2 and my baby came July 11th making me 41 wks and 2 days yes I was miserable lol

  3. the gestational perios is in fact 42 weeks, the dr usually dont let it go anylonger as the placenta starts to break down...

  4. Very normal! As a matter of fact most first time moms carry longer. Chances are they wont let you go past 42 though.

  5. Yes it is normal..they can even go as late as 42.

  6. yup normal, i was finally induced at 41wk 6d had my son bang on 42 weeks

  7. Very. Some babies come as late as 42 weeks. After that the doctor will probably induce. If I wasn't induced for my first, I'd bet money he would have been late.

  8. Average gestation for a healthy mom and baby in a first pregnancy is 41 weeks and 1 day, not 40 weeks as they usually tell you in your doctor's office.  So yes, it is very normal, healthy and average.

  9. Yes.  While the due date is at 40 weeks, a mom can actually expect to have a baby anywhere from 37-42 weeks.  Before 37 would be preemie, and after 42 is overdue.  Really, it should be a "due month"  :)

  10. yes. i did.
