Regardless of gender, if you can follow the 3 basic rules of caddying, you'll do OK... 1) Show up, 2) Keep up, and 3) Shut up.

yea it is. its just not seen often because of the sterio type that guys are stronger than girls and girls could hurt their backs.

If you're defining "normal" by statistics or prevalence, no, it's not normal.

That's only to say that, statistically speaking, there are not a great number of female caddies.

Absolutely! Nick Faldo and his caddie f***y, were extremely succesful together. f***y now caddies for Henrik Stenson on the European and PGA tours.
