Is it normal for a guy to NEVER look at you when talking?

why is it whenever he talks to me.. or like bothes me (taking my papers) he never looks at me in my eyes? NEVER.. with everyone else he does.. its so weird...

like a few days ago he randomley came up to me and sat beside me, asking me questions about myself.. but he NEVER looked at me..when he was flirting with me he had this big smile on his face afterwords lol!

he was smiling as if he won the trophy or something.. it was WIERD.. and then he radomley brought up this guy who i was talking to the other day, and was asking me if i think hes better then him..

he is NOT shy.. trust me.. he is the loudest in the class... but around me he acts this way.. and his voice gets softer..

he likes you, and he gets a little shy around you.

i'm not shy at all either, and i hate looking people in the eyes, maybe he does too?

well...i tlk 2 this 2 guy all the time n he always looks in my eyes.but since i like him so much i dont look in his eyes/face

my guess is thAT  he likes u A LOT!!

Hi,

Yes, that is normal, but not every guy does that. Maybe he is doing that because of the following reasons :

1. He likes you and he thinks if he makes eye contact he will get caught

2. Maybe because of the same reason he is feeling shy

3. It also depends on his background. Some guys of other national origin by nature are very shy around girls (well, I think !)

4. He already gave you enough clues about his liking you :

a) Clue #1 : He brought somebody over and asked you if you liked that second person better than him

b) Clue #2 : His voice gets softer when he talks to you

c) Clue #3 : He also flirts with you

Pretty soon he may start flirting with others in front of you to see how you respond to that. He will try to evaluate your seriousness in the relationship, if there is any or if he is anticipating any.

Sounds like a nice guy, though it is hard to assess a person in a short time or with such little interaction.

Sometimes you don't get to know a person even after 20 years !

That is why you should come up with your own Litmus Test :)

5. Some guys also play it safe. They do everything with the person they like but don't want to make any commitment and keep on playing that game.

I personally like guys that make direct eye contact because that gives me an opportunity to assess them better.

guys act different when there around the one they like. That kinda happened to me too, well this guy would look at me alot but would never say anything, so I'd always be the one talking. That was weird too.

He likes you so he's shy around you. I only look people directly in the eye if I know them really well.

He maybe intimidated by you, or just shy around you- because he likes you.
