I think I heard the market was 194th or something (an ABC affiliate). To make things all the worse the owner doesn't seem to invest much capital into the business, therefore our equipment is old, outdated, and breaking down.

  1. very. I am in market 140 and morning production gets 7.50 an hour. Welcome to the luxurious world of television production. Stick with it, in a small market you can move up quick. Look to get into promotions/commercials or news photog. Within a year you'll have industry value, it sucks at first but there's lots of opportunity to grow in this field.

P.S, outisde of the top 30 markets in the country, every station is falling apart. It's a new area, the high def era and with the digital conversion in feb 09, new equipment is on the way.
