  1. Ew, that's NOT normal.

  2. of course not

  3. thats sooooooooooooo not normal!! she should go to the principal or another adminastrator.

                            good luck :)

  4. I would think it is. Especially if hes creepy.

Why would a 50 year old teacher have myspace anyway?

    Weird...

    Hope I helped!

    x*x

  5. No way is that normal.  It's even creepier than he's 50 yrs. old and has a myspace!

  6. It is not only wrong because of the fact that he is her teacher , but it is also morally wrong. Report him immediately to the school authorities so they can check itnot it further . If he is communicating via computer with her , how many others is he ???????

  7. No, that is VERY unprofessional, and school systems look down upon teachers having students as friends on myspace.

  8. lmfao ew wtf?! thats not normal....

its hardly normal for someone 50 years old to have a myspace.

tell your friend that i say, to like block him out ;D but ew god thats grosss hahaha

  9. Tell Tell Tell !!! Tell your parents the school and tell her to tell her parents! If he aint up to anything then he'll be OK

  10. yeah its a little wierd ..

  11. No it is not.  To use your own phrase, it is seriously creepy.

Now the guy could just be lonely and enjoy the company of young people.  Yup, that could just be the case, but it sounds to me as if this guy is ultimately up to no good.

Your friend needs to report this to her parents - and they should take it up with the headteacher  or principal of the school.

  12. If the teacher truly is creepy and obsessed as you say, then no it's not OK and should be reported if it really is a bad situation or if his advances continue.

Age is not the issue here. Fifty-year olds can have MySpaces just as much as teenagers and thirty year olds. I'm 30 and have several MySpace friends that are 45-50.

The issue is whether the teacher could become a stalker or could continue his advances and make the student uncomfortable which could lead to behavioral issues and often leads to dropping out of school.

For safety, have your friend set her profile to private if it is not already.

If, however, you or someone else reading these answers, has a teacher that has a MySpace page that involves actual teaching and curriculum, then I am all for that. Every teacher has to find a way to reach their students and MySpace is very popular.

  13. No. Tell Tom; He'll handle it.

  14. No, this is not normal. First of all what is he doing on MySpace? Your friend should tell her parents, so they can report him to the principal and other school administrators.  In the meantime she should block him.  She probably isn't the only student he has contacted.

    Take Care.

  15. No.

I would talk about this situation with the school administration, right away.  Get a parent involved here.

  16. no, i would report it to the school or your parents.

  17. certainly not,  report him!!
