  1. What kind of instructor screamed at you? Try to forget about her and move on. You will do fine.

  2. I'm 19 and still have never driven a car....walking is good exercise and petrol is expensive. I think there are too many terrible drivers on the road here in the U.K and think i would probably turn into one if i got a car lol

  3. it's completely normal!  and probably a good thing too...too many teenagers don't take driving seriously and it's good that you do.  just take it slow, get a new instructor also.  once you get a little more used to it, you'll do fine and become more comfortable.

tell the person you are driving with that you are nervous and drive around places without a lot of traffic first until you become more comfortable.  just do what they showed you in drivers ed and you'll be fine.  i was scared to start driving too and put of getting mine for a while.  now i love driving!  just take your time and good luck!

  4. Actually it isn't normal to be scared. Because ever teens wants to drive so that they can be free from their parents. And be able to go where they want. But I can understand why you are scared. It's a pyschological thing. Because your afraid of making a mistake. And because that lady screamed at you so that's why you are afraid of making a mistake while in the driver seat. But you are going to have to conquer that fear. It's all up to you to get over that fear. Wish you luck because you are missing out on a lot by not driving.

  5. it all depends on the experiences the teen has while taking driving classes or what they went through as a child.

  6. Yeah, it's normal.  You had a bad instructor.  You need someone doesn't scream at you.   Start out in parking lots, or around streets you're familiar with that aren't busy.  Get the feel of the car.  Also, this sounds crazy, but practice driving in your head.  Sit in the car while you do it when possible.  Think about starting the car, checking your mirrors, putting it in gear, etc.  Get really familiar with where everything is.  You'll get over your fear the more you drive.

  7. yes it  is
