Is it normal for cats to drool?

i'm getting a free cat form someone and it's really adorable but it drools they said because it's happy but is it normal?

Animals are often seen drooling, if your cat drools occassionaly, its pretty normal, as there are certain reasons for cat drool. If a cat is having digestive issues it will drool, if its feeling nausea it will drool. Even if you pet it alot it will start drooling, but  these are all normal symptoms of drooling in cats. If your cat starts to drool cnsistenetly, then its a sign of worry, in such a situation its advoceable to take your cat to a vet.
