  1. my father spoiled me. i was daddy's girl. and i love both my parents very much. it's probably case to case basis how children reacts.


  2. Yes. The parents make the child a mini monster - hence the term 'spoil' - as in to ruin, to help rot. Children are very perceptive and they can discern fairly quickly between attention form Mommy and Daddy and being given "gifts' in lieu of actual affection.

  3. Yes.

    If you spoil them they become greedy, and no matter what you give them they'll never be satisfied! Its better to bring them up on tough love!

    If you're overprotect your children they're more likely to rebel, especially in teenage years! Set some ground rules but don't wrap them up in cotton wool!
