Question:

Is it normal for female bearded dragons to eat their eggs??

My bearded dragon just laid a c**p-load of eggs, and since we don't have a male, they aren't fertile..... but then she at like two of them, so i was just wondering if that's normal for them to do......

  1. never have heard of a bearded eating her own eggs. If they are they may be having a chemical deficency. Gecko's and some lizards eat their shed skin to retain vitamins. Take them out and incubate a.s.a.p after she lays them. Does she not bury them? Do you have a nesting box for her to bury them in?


  2. If you leave them in with her too long, yes, it is normal for that to happen.
