Is it normal for friends to drift apart after college?

I am a college senior and I am wondering on what happens with friends after college. Do friends tend to just drift apart after college? How has anyone handled this and is it hard to deal with at times?

Most people yes.  My son had a wedding in Washington D.C. and his college room mate flew in from Hawaii.  Usually it happens because people go in different directions, literally.

Good friends are hard to find so enjoy the happy moments. Don't worry about the future. Just have fun. And if you do drift apart just try to reconnect again. And if that doesn't work make new ones and keep the old ones in your heart.
