  1. Ginger is a hot spice that may irritate the digestive tract of someone who has digestive problems. I love ginger, but can't tolerate it. It makes my lower GI tract very irritated.

    Apparently, it can be a good anti-nauseant for some people; it just may not be right for you.


  2. I think if you took too much at a time--it might tend to upset the stomach.  Just as taking too much of anything is not good for you--the stomach will reject it.

  3. Hi! Sometimes it can irritate because ginger is a warming root.  However sometimes it can be troublesome if you are constipated as well because it heightens digestive function that could cause nausea.
