  1. My son nearly stopped growing from 6- 8 months, but he had two big growth spurts between 9 and 12 months. I would think that the measurement is not quite right, is she still growing out of her clothes, just much more slowly? That is a pretty accurate way to tell is she is growing, outgrowing clothes will show you so much.

  2. it isn't unsual for their growth to slow around 6 months or so however I would bet it was more than likely a measuring error,   When they measure them they stretch them out and measure very quickly.  It is almost always inaccurate.  I measure my son at home every so often and I take the time to get an accurate height.

  3. my son was the same way - if he grew at all during that time it was like half an inch or something... he stayed in the 9th percentile for height and i was concerned but the dr. said not to worry about it b/c that height was the hardest thing to check accurately... i'm sure your daughter is fine!!

  4. ask your dr but we all grow diff. by baby is small but strong and healthy .. genetic play a role as well . When I take my girl in the say she is small and if she evey gets over 100 pound we will be surpised lol ( i am small and short)
