Is it normal for my cat to have glossy eyes and minor build up?

I usually find myself cleaning her eye areas with Q-Tip or bath tissue. Her eyes look very watery almost. Should I be worried or what?

  1. Hi!

Your cat could have a kitty cold, known as an Upper Respiratory Infection. It is normally accompanied by stuffy nose, some congestion and sneezing. If those are not present and your cat's eyes continue to be watery, then it could indicate an allergy or some sort. It's best to bring her to the vet for a health screen so if treatment is needed, it can be administered the soonest possible.
