  1. haha!!!

  2. Yes, its totally normal for your bird to m********e. Many do it all the time. Some will have a favorite toy or something in their cage that they favor. Sometimes removing the object will help, sometimes they just find anything else to work with.

    Either way it's completely normal.

  3. yes i think  so. my cockatail used to get busy with the tv remote often.

  4. yes, sometimes they make a really happy sound when they do. my budgie used do it to the rabbits head and the rabbit was in love with the cats and my dog liked the cats and the rabbit so none of them seem to particular about what they use when they are in the mood.

  5. I think he's probably just in heat so yes.

  6. Well, I have it on good authority that yes, it is common for them to do this.

  7. Yes this is totally normal.  It is done by all birds, but most noticeable in the smaller breeds like cockatiels, budgies, lovebirds, etc.  They will usually do it all year long, it does not have to be breeding season for them to do it.  There is nothing you can do to stop it, so just turn your head if it embarrasses you !!  Some will do it to a favorite toy.  Removing the toy may stop it for a few days, but usually the bird will find something else he likes, or even just the perch or the side of the cage.  Don't worry about it.  Please read my profile.

  8. yup they do it alot, cut back the amount of sunlight he gets everyday, if there is too much sunlight he can get hormonal and to be honest with you very horny, goodluck and check out http://www.parrotcentral.net/cockatiels.... for good info on cockatiels
