Is it normal for my lip to feel like it's pinched?

I just got my lip pierced yesterday, and it feels like it's being pinched right now -- as it did a couple of times yesterday.

My lip has had mini-seizure-sessions before; where it just suddenly pinches [like when your muscle is in a weird position and it jolts a lot].

But, to those that have had their lip pierced; has this ever happened to you?

ya my sister and i both felt that way constantly when we had it but we did it ourselves so i dont know if its the same.
