Is it normal for the engine light to be on after cleaning the air filter on a 2001 ford expedition

it did on my other car and went off could this be the same thing or is something else wrong with it

  1. no its not normal make sure you plug all connectors back in that are on the air filter housing i bet you forgot to plug it back in


  2. my answer is try to check it out first on auto repair shop..,

  3. was there a electric plug which you disconnected? if so check the plug has been refitted.if the plug was pulled with the ignition on this could set a fault in the ECU you will need to get codes cleared....
