This is the second morning of my period. I have only had it once before, but not this heavy. Yesterday, I went through 8 tampons. And this morning at 11:30, I'm on my third one, and almost 4th! Its very heavy and i'm changing it every 30 minutes-every hour!! I wear a pantyliner in case it starts to leak for back-up. I have dance pictures today and I'm babysitting! Help help help!!

  1. oh hunny it is VERY normal! some months  you will have VERY heavy periods, other months it may be very little. when i have periods like that i wear a tampon and a pad, not just a pantiliner. it'll get lighter prolly in the next day or so. dont fret

  2. as u go on ur periods get heavyer dnt stress ova it

  3. Have you eaten lots of candy? Anything with sugar? Junk food?

Well it makes your period much heavier.

  4. That is not normal. Its not even normal for a heavy flow. 8 tampons is way to many, I have a heavey flow and I go through about 3 a day at the most. But if your concerned that your pregnant *considering this is in the pregnancy sections* your probably not. You dont have a period when your pregnant. But if you are pregnant, that could be the sign of a miscarriage.

  5. Its very normal.

    Try a super-plus tampon and a liner.

  6. There is nothing you can really do to stop the flow. Stress levels can affect your period. If you are truly concerned, go see a doctor.
