If you are on the pill, is it normal to get your period a couple days after you've stopped the active pills instead of the day after you stop taking them?

  1. yes that's normal. No worries!

  2. Yes. That is perfectly normal. When I was taking birth control, I would start my inactive pills on a Sunday and my period wouldn't come until Wednesday.Hope this helps!

  3. Yes. It should say that in the instructions/information that came with your pills. The information with my pills states that your period usually starts 3 days after your last active pill. So 3 or 4 days into your inactive pills sounds like you're right on schedule!

  4. YES

    when your on the pill

it has to build up to therapeutic levels in your body

(one of the reasons why its best to take it the same time each day)

when you go onto the inactive/sugar pills, it should take a few days before your body is ready for your period

ie. i start my sugar pills on sat, and wake up on tues morn with my period
