  1. its normal daniops are very fast and when it comes to feeding time they grab all the food with there beak like mouth just kind of make sure they dont over eat like push the flake away from them

  2. Yeah, its okay...

They range from 4 cm/ (1.75 in) to 15 cm/ (6 in) in length. They generally do not live for more than two to three years and are probably annual fish in the wild.

Just a few details about them:

Danios prefer water with a 6.0–8.0 pH, a water hardness of up to 5.0–19.0 dGH,a carbon hardness of 8 to 12 KH, and a temperature range of 68–80 °F (18–24 °C), the lower end of the temperature range is ideal.

    Hope I helped!

  3. Most danios will mature to about 1 1/2 inches. Well actually that is the common size for zebra danios. 1 cm should be fine, but each individual has their own growth process. If they are acting normally, then they are fine. May I ask what type you have?

  4. Giant Danios grow much faster than zebras, they start their fast growth as early as two weeks after hatching.

I know you love your kyathit danio fish_man, for those of you who don't know fish_man's fave danio, this is a pic of the lil' cutie:

And, BTW fish_man, here is a great site to learn about zebra danios: p.s you will need Powerpoint to view this presentation:

Fish_Man, UR my favourite asker BTW, your enthusiasm inspires me..:))

    Good luck mate!!

  5. I'm sure its perfectly normal to grow 1cm in a month. The final size depends on the variety, average is about 2.5 ".. but if they are giant danios, they can grow up to 4". I had a stray giant danio in with my normal ones... and wondered what it was!! Hope this helps.
