  1. Well you have got one hungry baby on your hands there. It's more than my 15 week old has but all babies are different. As long as he/she is satisfied and isn't gaining lots of weight it shouldn't be a problem. Once he/she is having full 8oz bottles and is still wanting more, try him on the next stage milk. But for now, just enjoy the fact that he's not a fussy eater and enjoy being a mum.

  2. That does seem like kind of a lot for a 3 week old but as long as they're not spitting it back up or anything I don't think it will hurt anything.

  3. It is on the high side, but completely within normal limits.  If you feed your baby when they are hungry and not just bored or tired, you will be hard pressed to overfeed a baby.  Just don't try to get them to finish the bottle unless they want to.

  4. Your little one is just going through a normal growth spurt.  It happens about this time. If he is hungry, he'll eat.  If you feel like it might be too much, you can try stopping after 4 or 5 oz.  If your little one just seems hungry still then feed him!  He's much better at telling you what his tummy needs than anyone else.  You are doing just fine!  Good Luck!

  5. I doubt it.  My 4 week old does the same thing.  He can empty both b*****s (not quite sure how much he gets) and then take another 4 to 6 oz of formula usually about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours.  He does stop when he's full though.

I wouldn't worry about your baby.  Congrats!!

  6. your baby will only take as much as it wants, if you are a little worried this is to much, try giving cooled boiled water too, sometimes they are just thirsty, especially when the weather is warmer!
