Is it normal that my teeth hurt after getting my braces off?

It's been 2 days ago that my braces have been taken off..and now my teeth hurt that i just want to ip them off!!! -_- Help please!

I got my braces off today actually but I have no pain right now. Just call up your orthodontist and ask someone there. I'm sure its fine though, I mean they did just rip the metal and cement off your teeth.

yes because they are used to being held together with your braces..once you get a retainer and use those your teeth will get used to being in place

Yes. Your teeth are use to being restrained by the braces. They have to adjust and settle. If they start moving back go get a retainer. I wore braces for 4 years and now two of my bottom teeth overlap a little. I'm sorry I didn't wear my retainer.

yes because you had them on for a while and they are use too  have your braces holden them togerather and its going to take alittle time for them to get back to normal and for the soreness to stop  so just try take something like asprin  and  try to gargle with warm salty water and rest your mouth i know this becauseb i had bracese before and it was very painful and i was so  ready for them too come off and when they did my teeth were so score and hurt so bad it coulden take it so it just took something for plain and rest my mouth
