  1. Yes this happened to me, in fact nearly 3 months later and I'm still not as regular as I'd like to be.

Drink loads of water and eat plenty of fibre and if it all gets too much take a Senakot.

  2. no...it's more likely to be a dietary thing....just take a mild laxative tablet to help you until things get back to normal...which they usually do.

  3. Yes, nicotine speeds up the digestive tract just like caffeine does.  I would guess it will go away after your body gets through the nicotine withdrawl.

  4. Same thing happens to me when I give up smoking try and increase your intake of clear fluids and eat lots of fibre

  5. Yes, the same thing happened to me when I quit smoking. Take a laxative and drink lots of water, it will get you going regularly again.

  6. Yes, it is normal. Nicotine helps your bowels - without it, you get constipated. Try taking some fiber and drinking hot coffee. And smoke some cigarettes, for heaven's sake!

  7. Don't think there is any connection

  8. oh yes definitely. try some nicotine patches, or maybe laxatives will do the trick for you. abrupt abstinence is more difficult than a gradual one.... anyway, good luck.
