  1. yes, of course ur realizing that life hasnt even begun and now u need to stop playing games and do what u need to do to survive.

my friend was and still is sad about growing up, he is doing everything to still be a kid. thats a battle u will never win and will wast years fighting. once u realize u need to put the toys away then u will be happy.

dont u want the nice car, house, family? kids dont have that.

  2. Think of this:

Growing older is mandatory, growing up is a choice.

  3. well, i think depression is not normal..there's nothing  to be depressed about turning 18! yeah! its true  that you have to leave childhood, but then this is life, you cant be a kid for all your life.. you become an adult, you become responsible, you gain lot of knowledge, you learn how to control things..you would have to handle a lot of things, but you would be fine!! good luck if you are turning 18 soon!

  4. i'm sure it is normal. you don't want to grow up and you want to stay young forever. i want to be 26; but i'm really 16. i just want to be 26 because by then i'll be finish with pharmacy school and working. i can't wait.

  5. yeah, i would say it is normal. but dont let it stop you or hold you back. allow yourself to be depressed about it......but dont spend forever being depressed about it.

eventually you wont mind being 18 and you will be ok with it.
