Is it normal to bleed after you have started your active pill?

It depends, do you mean is it normal to start bleeing when taking the active pills or is it normal for your period to continue?

If you have your period, bleeding won't automatically stop with the first active pill.

If you're bleeding mid-cycle, that isn't usual and could mean the pill isn't completely effective and something is interfering with the absorption, in which case I recommend speaking to your doctor.
