Is it normal to experience spotting after taking morning after pill?

I always have regular 28 days cycle. On day 6th, I had vaginal intercourse with my husband and the condom broke. (at the time, I was still bleeding), in order to be 100% sure, I took both dosage of morning after pill, and couple days later, I experienced very very light spotting. Is it normal? Does it mean I am pregnant? From all the articles that I have read, implantation spotting should be experienced a little later correct?

  1. I would not worry about it. I'm sure your fine. your body had a change when you took the other 2 pills. It will be back to normal next month.

  2. The morning after pill is intended to prevent or delay ovulation and this can disrupt the cycle, so spotting is normal.  Your period may be delayed or arrive early as well.  Since you took it early in the cycle yours may end up delayed.

  3. best be safe go to the gp and explain to them what has happened

  4. Forget about it.

  5. If you took both dosages of the morning after pill, I highly doubt that you're pregnant.  While it is possible to get pregnant during your period, it's not highly likely.  The website, http://eastbayoptions.com/morningafterpi... states that the pill can cause changes to your menstral cycle.  Maybe this is the cause for your bleeding.
