Is it normal to feel hungry when on a vegetarian detox?

I'm on this four week detox, and all I can eat are fruits, veggies, grains, and fish... no salt, preservatives - nothing!

Is it normal to feel hungry on this type of diet?

  1. Yes, protein makes you feel full, and you're missing the main sources of it which are meat and dairy.  Can you include nuts with your grains?  Nuts are rich in protein so that would help.


  2. Oh yeah! Because the food is absorbed really fast and goes through the body's system really quick. Just have some little snacks here and there to help with the hunger.
