Is it normal to get cramps 2 weeks into pregnancy?

i am 2 weeks pregnant and i am having abdominal cramps. is this normal?

If you continue to have these cramps or they get worse go to the doctor or hospital.  I once had an ectopic pregnancy and these were the symtoms.  I had cramping and even had my period for two month (very light) be careful because I almost died.  I had to get one of my tubes removed.  I was able to have two more children after.  Good luck.

Yes its is perfectly normal to have cramps in early pregnancy. Your uterus is quickly changing as the fertilized egg attaches to the uterus wall and starts to develop as a fetus. Do you notice cramping on a specific side? If so, it could be because that is the side the fallopian tube is on that released the fertilized egg. You'll be experiencing a lot of different little pains and cramps through out pregnancy as you change and grow. Just make sure to discuss them at your doctors visits to get any reassurance.

i think u must mean 4wks pregnant cos you would not know if you were pregnant or not at 2wks the egg would only just be implanting in the uterus...

however cramping is normal during early pregnancy as long as they are not severe an not accompanied by bleeding...

i had cramping in early pregnancy an i still have it not at 34wks..

Yes it's normal to experience period like cramping in early pregnancy. Everyday the baby is growing and as a result the ligaments and muscles need to stretch to accomodate the growing baby. Congrats and good luck.

You mean 4 weeks pregnant? Yes it is normal, unless you are cramping plus having heavy bleeding. It is called implantation--you have lite cramping and some have lite bleeding and some dont. I did when I was 7 weeks pregnant.

Well it is normal to have mild period like cramps but I dont know what kind of cramping you are having. If they are bad cramps watch for any sign of blood and call your doctor.
