Is it normal to get normal period cramps, but no period when you might be pregnant?

I'm trying to get pregnant, my period was due yesterday and I still haven't got it. Pregnancy tests keep coming back negative. Today I am experiencing the same cramps I normally experience when I get my period, but I don't have it, nor any of the other normal signs that I have when I get my period. Is it normal to experience similar symptoms if you're pregnant?

  2. AF was due for me 8/12 and never showed from 8/8 up until a few days ago I swore AF was going to show any second..felt the same way it always does. I had a neg beta and hpt on 8/4, and neg hpt's on 8/14 & 8/15 (after AF was due). Just got a positive beta 8/18 and it doubled Wednesday..back again tomorrow for re-check

So yes it's very possible. With my son I didn't get a ++ hpt until CD36 too and same with him, thought AF was definitely showing.

  3. When I got pregnant I had cramps exactly like my period for a week before I was supposed to get it and two weeks after.  I also had a negative HPT the day of my missed period.  I waited a couple of days and got a BFP!  Good Luck!
