Is it normal to hav puss coming from a belly button piercing?

i got my belly button pierced a month and a half ago...and i'm just now having a little puss come out of it...it's like yelloish green.....is that normal??? ohh and how long do u have to wait before u can change it?

the puss should not be greenish if it is, then its infected, but if its yellowish white then its okay. wash it in the shower with dial soap and you can change it after 6 months

As gross as this sounds, my belly button piercing pussed for about six months.  It takes a long time to fully heal, and I would wait at least six months before attempting to change the ring in order to avoid a nasty infection.  Just keep cleaning it out well once or twice a day!

it is probably infected. every time you clean it squeeze it and try to get as much of the goo out as you can. then wash it with antibacterial soap. dont go changing the jewelery until it is healed.

it might be infected. that same thing happened with me.

i wouldn't say that it is normal but it can still heal regularly,just keep washing it in the shower with bacterial soap and things should work out
