Is it normal to have 3 bowel movements in one hour?

i have had this about 3 months now. i am anemic, im 36, every morning its the same. i have been eating a cereal every morning. could this be the cause or something else?

i am on iron supplements too

  1. It depends on what causes your bowel movements. If bacteria causes this, you could have a problem in your intestines. But if not, the fibers in your food intake may be causing it. Instead of taking iron supplements why not eat food rich in iron. Green and leafy vegetables don't have much side effects as synthetics do. Pork liver when half cooked also adds iron to our system.

  3. I am not a Doctor by any stretch but I can say from experience that Iron supplements did increase the wife's bowel movements.

  4. We all all different. My mum used to go to the loo literally once a week. I go at least 3 times in the first hour or so and intermittently throughout the day.

    If you are worried why not see your doctor.
