Is it normal to have a clear early colostrum??

My colostrum started leaking really early, like at 4 months, and its a clear color, is it normal?? what color is it supposed to be?

yes if you are leaking before delivering it can be normal for it to be clear. After delivery you milk when turn to a yellow color.

It starts clear at first, then gets darker to milk color the closer you are to your delivery date

Perfectly normal!

After you have that lil one, it will become a thicker & yellowish.

Then after about a week, it will be a thinner kind of clear, but more white substace.

All is well, and if you plan to breastfeed, be sure to continue taking your prenatals so you can have those vitamins for you and your baby!

I was leaking clear sticky stuff from my breast starting at 20 weeks prego!! No worries its normal...at least it was for me according to the obgyn!!!

Mine started leaking a couple of weeks ago...only when I squeeze them! It's suppose to be clear!

it is commonly clear whitish or yellow but can be others depending on your diet
