Is it normal to have a few off practices/ days during xc?

For some reason, some days I will feel really good when I am running and I feel like I can go on forever. Other days, I feel dead and exhausted and cannot run as well as I can. Am I not trying hard enough or is this normall?

  1. Of course this is normal!  nobody can be 100% all the time.  Certain days or types of workouts are better than others.  

    It may depend on sleep, nutrition, or hydration, so try to keep those factors out of the question by being aware and taking care of them.

  2. everyone has off days! but it also might be what you eat befor and after you run. you need to make sure you eat lots of carbs. to provide your body with the enery it needs

  3. Yeah...some days you are not mentally in to it and other days your are pumped.
