Is it normal to have discharge come from a treated dry socket?

I got treated for my dry socket yesterday. The doctor stuffed medicated gauze in the socket and I cant start the syringe cleaning until thursday. And next monday I go back for a follow up to get the rest removed. But I noticed today that there is some kind of thick clear/yellow discharge coming from the site. Is this normal? I am just so frustrated because I've had so many problems since I had my wisdom teeth removed.
