I recently had a child and now almost a week after the catheter was removed there is still pain where it was inserted.

  1. If it is a burning pain you may have an infection going on. Contact your doctor so they can check you and prescribe antibiotics if needed.

  2. Foley catheters are a source of infection. A week is a long time to still have discomfort. Consul your doctor.
