Is it normal to have pinching pains in early pregnancy?

  1. yes, it's from your uterus stretching.

If these pains are occuring where your ovaries are located- yes.  This is your ovaries working to support the baby at this time.  I had the same thing.  It feels as if you are ovulating.  This is normal.  If the pains are located around your legs then I would say it could be the round ligament pains and you will experience these all througout the pregnancy.  If you are scared, call your doctor, it helps to put your mind at ease.  You may think it is a silly question, but they do not.


  3. Yes, I totally did, they were like "twinges" of pain. I have had them on and off for the whole time...and I'm 19 weeks tomorrow.

  5. Yes I constantly had them. I ended up going to the OB just to make sure that they weren't anything too serious. Turns out I had an undiagnosed UTI.
