i have a slight discomfort in my right eye. will this go away after a few weeks of wearing them.. ? i am a hard case to fit in general...but my doctor seems to be getting a little frustrated that i had to come back because of pain. if i go back again then he will try another brand on me.. but i dont want to risk it being wrong in both eyes. so i guess.. what are the chances that a mild discomfort in th right eye may go away on its own?

  1. Maybe because your CL is inside out, or there is a dirt, eyelashes, lint or a tear in  your CL. that is the reason why you feel discomfort wearing CLs.

  2. is it possible that the lens is inside out?  that would cause discomfort

it is not normal for the lens to cause pain, but if it's you're first time wearing contacts, it may feel weird.

  3. Some discomfort is normal, but pain is not, it is normal if it feels like an eyelash is in your eye, but it shouldn't hurt. If your doctor is getting frustrated, well, that's not really your fault. You should wear the lenses for a couple days (if it's just discomfort) to see if the discomfort goes away. It's normal for a first time wearer to feel the lenses for a week or two (it varies person to person). If they hurt, you need to see your doctor, you don't want the lenses to damage your eyes. Are these soft lenses? It is normal for RGP (rigid gas permeable, aka hard lenses) to hurt for a week or so while your eyelid gets used to something hard being in your eyes.
