Is it normal to not feel a burn?

because i just burnt myself on the oven tray and i for some reason kept it on my arm for about 30 secs and i couldn't feel it and i still cant but all the skin has sizzled off and it is all red around it but i still cant feel it at all

you may have a 3rd degree burn, they are for the most part painless. all the nerve endings have been burned away so you feel no pain. you must be very careful of this type of burn because it can become infected very easy. you should see a doc. as soon as possible. good luck.
