Is it normal to not see your friends outside of school?

They all live very far away from me because we all come to this school from different parts of the state. Besides, there's lots of homework and stuff, and you gotta wake pretty early. I only see them during school. During the summer, I go on vacation with my family and don't see them either. But I do have them on myspace. Is this normal?

Yes, if you don't live close to them and you are busy with your family and school work, it would be hard to see people from far away

Im the same way, my school is exactly like that.  Just make sure you guys are close and call them to see if they want to hang out.

My friends are ALL over the state, barely any of them live close.  If you have a car maybe you can meet somewhere inbetween to do something together.

There are ways to completely get together with them, it will be tough, but again there are ways.

Lol, i remember last weekend i didnt want to hang with anyone cause of the privacy i needed,  i turned off my cell and didnt let my mom answer the phone, it was a bad weekend, lol.  

You see them everyday throughout the week,  everyone does need some down time, just more than others.

Well It sounds like you have a special situation. Why don't you just make some friends closer to where you live for when you're not in school (although I know that's easier said than done).
