  1. Yes, it's very normal.  They say ovulation can happen 5-10 days after your last pill.

I take clomid on cd 3-7 and ovulated last month on cd 15 and when I start it on cd 5, I ovulated on cd 16 or 17.  Without clomid, I ovulated around cd 12.

I got pregnant on clomid (lh surge on cd16 and ovulated on cd 17) so don't worry.  Just make sure you have 12 days after ovulation before any af and that af is near normal.

If you have light bleeding throughout af or af comes before cd 12, you may want to ask for progesterone supplements to help reverse the negative effects of low estrogen caused by the clomid.

  2. A luteal phase (the days from ovulation until the first day of your menstrual period) should be at least ten days to sustain a pregnancy.

Conceiving this late is rare but not unheard of.

Good luck, and I hope you get pregnant this month.

    :)
