Is it normal to put on 2 stone within the first 5 months?

i've just gone 5 months pregnant, eating as normal, cut out allot off the caffine intake that i would normally have. but i'm piling on the weight. when i first found out i was pregnant i weighted 8st 4oz now i'm 10st 6oz is this normal in your first 5 months?

I found that I also put on a lot of weight despite eating normally.  Think its because my body is used to exercising.  I put on about stone and a half within 6 months so not far off you really.  I stored water and just stored the fat, mainly on my legs and bum too even though i walk loads and go to the gym still.  I wouldnt worry, eat healthily still and do exercise and worry about losing it afterwards.  they say up to 3stone is normal in pregnancy but depending on your height you may have been underweight when you first got pregnant and thats why you put on more because you are storing it for the baby.  That was me also.  

    If you are really concerned talk to your doctor but just think you are making your baby really healthy with nutrients.
